Heidi Anderson | Volleyball | West Carrolton High School

Heidi has outstanding grades and works hard to keep them up. She also is currently number one in passing and digs for the MVL League. She is a positive influence on and off of the court.

Alexis Boykin | Volleyball | Northmont High School

Alexis is an all around amazing athlete. She qualified for STATE as a sophomore in the shot put event for track & field. Currently, she is leading the GWOC with 48 blocks in her first 9 volleyball matches. She is also top five in the conference with a .480 kill percentage which means she scores on almost half of her hitting attempts (50 kills on 104 attempts). Besides hitting and blocking, Alexis supports her team with a 95% serving percentage (4 errors in 79 attempts). Along with her accomplishments in athletics, Alexis is showing success in the classroom with a 4.246 GPA. Alexis is multi-talented, also participating in band and drama club. There is nothing this outstanding student and amazing athlete can’t do, but most importantly, Alexis is an incredibly kind person. She leads by example on and off the court.

Allie Parker | Golf | West Carrollton High School

Allie Parker is a sophomore at West Carrollton High School, but no ordinary one. She is currently a varsity player on the girl’s golf team and participates as a trainer for the boy’s football team. In the spring and summer she also plays softball. While attending golf practices and matches and going to football practices and games on Friday night, Allie is maintaining a 4.0 average in her academics. Allie is much more than you can see on paper. She is always encouraging to other teammates if they have a bad shot or are feeling down. She works hard to improve her golf game by being open to suggestions and applying them to her game. Allie always has a smile on her face and displays leadership skills with friends and towards competitors. Allie Parker would be a great candidate for Athlete of the Month.
